Anyone who has ever taken a course to learn how to program in almost any language knows that the first program you write is “Hello World!” This is a simple program that prints the words “Hello World” to the screen. Why? This short program teaches some of the basic fundamentals of the programming language and gives you the satisfaction of creating something very quickly.
It seems appropriate that the first post on our new website would follow the same principle. I am sure the longer we write posts for you to enjoy, we will become more creative and more entertaining; but for now, creating a post to try out some of the features and basically prime the mental pump is necessary. The satisfaction of getting a post online is also important.
I would like to take a moment to introduce you to what you can expect to see here and who will be creating the content of our site. We plan to share our adventures geocaching, sewing and crafting, homeschooling, creating art and much, much more. The crew members include myself (Crazy Dave), Laura (Crazy Dave’s wife), Shelby (our teenage daughter), and Dave and Nick (our pre-teen, twin sons).

I work in the information technology field, enjoy geocaching and try my hand at DIY projects around the house. I plan to share with you interesting things that I learn as I continue to expand my knowledge in IT, offer stories about our adventures in geocaching and divulge my mistakes and successes in my projects. I will also give my opinion on many other subject along the way.
Laura is a stay at home mom who loves to sew, cook and teach our children. She will probably talk a lot about sewing! I mean a lot!! She will also give some of her secrets for dealing with everyday life in our home while suffering with a disabling disease.
Shelby does what most early teen girls do. She loves to read, write, draw and think about boys. She will share some of her writing with you and some of her artwork. She will NOT be sharing her phone number with any of you boys… Sorry, Dad says so!!
Dave is excellent at math and loves gaming. He plans to be a game designer when he grows up.
Nick excels at drawing when we can get him off of the video games. He also plans to be a game designer some day.
Honestly, I am not sure what to expect Dave and Nick to contribute, but I know when they decide, it will be fabulous.
