Going Caching 2018 had something for everyone. Whether you love the geocaching or the activities, making new friends or the shows, or maybe the geo-swag or the challenges, you don’t want to miss the next one.
I thought I was going to cry in church today. David and I were sitting in the adult class when the children’s teacher came to get David. I sat there, mindless of the lesson, frozen and afraid. Memories. Feelings.
What do you get out of geocaching?
Do you really want to know what I get out of geocaching?
I know geocaching is not for everyone, but why do I always get strange looks from my muggle(a non-geocacher) friends and associates when they find out I am geocaching? I mean, you’d think I was doing drugs or joining a cult with the looks and questions I get sometimes. For some reason, folks sometimes become very concerned about my mental state.
Leap Day is a special to the geocaching community.It is the day that allows us to finally fill the last space on the “Finds for Each Day of the Year” chart!
At the First Light 2016 event, we watched the sun rise over the hilltops enjoying the company of friends as God presented us with a new day and a new year.
Being the first to find a newly pubished geocache is somewhat of a special honor in the slightly crazy geocaching community.
